What you will learn
Designed for students in Years 9–12, this course provides a step-by-step approach to analysing texts and constructing clear, well-supported arguments. Students will learn how to interpret essay prompts, develop strong thesis statements, integrate textual evidence effectively, and analyse themes, characters, and authorial techniques.
The course covers essay structure, paragraph development, topic sentences, quote integration, introductions and conclusions, as well as practical strategies for improving expression, cohesion, and exam performance.
